Real Estate Attorney

Renee Adwar, Esq. is the principal of Renee Adwar, P.A. which was founded in 2006. Prior to that, beginning in 1994, Renee worked at M.A. Martin & Associates P.A., with her mentor and partner Miguel Angel Martin, Esq. also with their legal assistant, Judith Filippi. Renee is fully bilingual, her first language is English but she is fluent in Spanish both written and spoken. 

Renee was born in Bayside, Queens, New York and was raised in Long Island, South Bellmore, New York. She attended the State University of New York at Stony Brook where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988. She then went to the University of Miami Law School where she earned her Juris Doctor degree in 1991. Throughout law school, she interned at the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office and gained invaluable exposure to the court system and trial process. Upon graduating law school she freelanced with several criminal defense lawyers and also did Family Law matters. She was able to participate in many hearings and trials as second chair even some death penalty cases. However, after a few years she decided she wanted to broaden her expertise and no longer handle criminal matters, so she then began working with Miguel Angel Martin, Esq. Together they handled many international matters ranging in complexity, as Miguel was an attorney from Spain as well as Florida and had extensive experience in assisting and counseling foreigners wanting to come to Florida to invest and start businesses, etc. It was at this point that she began to work with a predominately foreign client base thereby perfecting her use of Spanish and gaining substantial experience in counseling clients working side by side with Miguel who was her mentor, partner, colleague and friend. Renee has and continues to handle many litigation matters and has been admitted pro hac vice in cases in New York and Louisiana. 

Since 2006, Renee Adwar is a Title Agent with Attorneys Title Insurance Fund, Inc. and Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. A large part of her practice focuses on real estate closings of varying ranges from small to large complex transactions, including many that exceed 1 million dollars, both residential and commercial properties.

Renee Adwar is a member of the Florida Bar, and is also admitted to the Federal Bar. She is admitted to practice before all of the Florida State Courts, United States District Court, Southern District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeal, Eleventh Circuit.
