Once you enter the Village of Key Biscayne you will find a family-friendly environment.
As soon as you begin your short journey over this 5 mile stretch of Rickenbacker Causeway and leave the hustle and bustle of Brickell/ Downtown Miami you feel the peace and tranquility of island life begin to set in. This island vibe is so vastly different from its mainland financial district partner, Brickell, yet so close it is an easy commute there and to Coconut Grove. The Rickenbacker causeway provides access to; the historic Virginia Key Beach Park, 85 acres of bike trails, walking paths, and beach, The Seaquarium, University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, public beaches for sunbathers and wind surfers, marinas, and waterfront restaurants, such as The Rusty Pelican.
